About Us

Before cofounding Tauroi Technologies, Avi spent 7 years as a strategy consultant for hedge funds building systematic trading strategies. He previously held tenure at GSK building machine learning systems for drug discovery. Prior to that, Avi worked as a data scientist at Microsoft helping build Microsoft’s cognitive services. He also built knowledge graphs for ads; resulting in increased ad relevance, increasing revenue while reducing the number of ads shown. Avi holds five patents related to image search and has published two papers. He received his B.S, from Harvey Mudd College, where he majored in Engineering, and lectures about deep learning and quant trading.

Prior to cofounding Tauroi Technologies, Daniel spent four years writing highly concurrent, highly reliable code for Pure Storage's data replication features and has a patent pending as the primary inventor for the integration of the Quality of Service Fairness with Replication. At Pure Storage he wrote software that was robust against unexpected failure conditions and that ran in a highly concurrent and performance sensitive environment. Daniel is an accomplished bridge player who became a life master at age 22 and won the World Bridge Federation Junior Online World Championship in 2019. He majored in computer science at Harvey Mudd College and while there wrote software to analyze and help rebalance the Mudd Investment Fund's portfolio.
